Richard B. BrewerPresident and Chief Executive Officer -
Richard B. Brewer was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Myrexis, Inc. and to serve as a member of the Board of Directors on May 11, 2012. From September 1998 until February 2004, Mr. Brewer served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Scios Inc., a biopharmaceutical company where he, together with Mr. Gryska, led the transaction effort for the successful sale of the company to Johnson & Johnson for $2.5 billion in February 2003. He has served as a director of Dendreon Corporation since 2004 and was Chairman of Dendreon's Board of Directors from June 2004 to January 2012. In addition, since 2009, Mr. Brewer has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Arca Biopharma, Inc. and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer from 2006 to 2009. Mr. Brewer has been the Executive Chairman of Nile Therapeutics, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, since July 2010. Mr. Brewer is a director of SRI International, an independent, non-profit research group, and an advisory board member at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management Center for Biotechnology at Northwestern University. Mr. Brewer holds a B.S. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University.

David W. GryskaChief Operating Officer -
David W. Gryska was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Myrexis, Inc. and to serve as a member of our Board of Directors on May 11, 2012. From December 2006 to October 2010, Mr. Gryska was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Celgene Corporation. Previously, from October 2004 to December 2006, he was a principal at Strategic Consulting Group, where he provided strategic consulting to early-stage biotechnology companies. From 1998 to 2004, Mr. Gryska was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Scios, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, where he, together with Mr. Brewer, led the transaction effort for the successful sale of the company to Johnson & Johnson for $2.5 billion in February 2003. Mr. Gryska also serves on the Board of Directors of Seattle Genetics, Inc. and Hyperion Therapeutics. He holds a B.A. in accounting and finance from Loyola University and an M.B.A. from Golden Gate University.

Andrea E. KendellChief Financial Officer -
Andrea Kendell was appointed Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of Myrexis, Inc. on September 8, 2011 after serving as Vice President, Finance and Human Resources since June 2010. She joined the Company in May 2009 as Corporate Controller. Prior to joining Myrexis, Ms. Kendell held senior management positions with Moog Medical Devices Group, formerly ZEVEX, Inc. a publicly traded international medical device manufacturing company serving as Corporate Controller from January 1997 to March 2007, and Group Financial Manager from March 2007 to May 2009. Ms. Kendell received a B.A. in Accounting and a M.A. in Accounting from Westminster College, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Gradon D. KnottsVice President, Business Development -
Gradon Knotts joined Myrexis as Vice President, Business Development in November 2011 and brings over 21 years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience to the company, including successfully negotiating more than 15 business development transactions. Prior to joining Myrexis, Mr. Knotts was Vice President, Business Development at Talon Therapeutics (formerly Hana Biosciences) where he was a member of Talon's Executive Team and responsible for all business development and strategic marketing activities. Mr. Knotts previously served as Vice President, Business and Corporate Development at Sunesis Pharmaceuticals where, as a member of their executive committee, he was responsible for product and technology in- and out-licensing and strategic marketing. In addition to being responsible for the development and implementation of the company's partnering strategy, he played a central role in the creation and management of Sunesis' internal portfolio review and prioritization process. Prior to Sunesis, Mr. Knotts served as Senior Director, Business Development for Xenogen Corporation where he set strategy and negotiated several business development deals for Xenogen's biophotonic imaging product line. Mr. Knotts also held positions of increasing responsibility at Roche Bioscience and Syntex Corporation, in the areas of global strategic marketing, business development, managed healthcare contracts, market research/analysis and financial analysis. Mr. Knotts holds an M.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame with concentrations in Finance and Management and a B.S. degree in Finance from Brigham Young University.

Gary G. Mather D.V.M., Ph.D., DABTVice President, Head of Development -
Gary Mather, D.V.M., Ph.D., DABT, currently serves as Vice President of Toxicology for Myrexis, Inc. and has been with the Company since 2001. During his career at Myrexis, Dr. Mather has served as Head of Drug Development and directed the Drug Metabolism, Pharmacokinetics and Toxicology groups and was instrumental in filing six IND applications. Dr. Mather has over 20 years of experience in drug development in various organizations including academic centers, small pharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations. He directed the University of Idaho Analytical Laboratory and the Washington State University Toxicology Diagnostic Laboratory. Dr. Mather gained extensive experience in drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics at the University of Washington and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology (DABT). He received his B.S. degree from the University of Nebraska, his veterinary degree from the University of Missouri, and his Ph.D. from Washington State University.

Kenton H. Zavitz Ph.D.Senior Director, Clinical and Scientific Affairs -
Kenton Zavitz, Ph.D., is Senior Director of Clinical and Scientific Affairs for Myrexis, Inc. and has been with the Company since 1998. In his career with Myrexis, Dr. Zavitz has served in a variety of roles including Director of the Company's Strategic In-licensing and Scientific Evaluation Program, Chief Scientist of the tarenflurbil Clinical Development Program, Director of Neurodegeneration Therapeutics Discovery and Head of Drug Target Discovery and Validation. Dr. Zavitz received his B.Sc. degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Toronto and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The Sloan-Kettering Division of the Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences in New York City. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the UCLA School of Medicine and was awarded fellowships from the Leukemia Society of America and the Jane Coffin Childs Memorial Fund for Medical Research.
